KONCERT V SYNAGÓGE 2021

"The main goal of the project is to promote common cultural heritage via music in the Visegrad region. This year, we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Visegrad group as well as of the project Mosty-Gesharim. Our goal is to organize a unique concert combining discussion about the history of the V4 cooperation and musical performances of the most popular artists from all four countries. This year´s concert will take place in September 2021 in Liptovský Mikuláš Synagogue. The concert´s program include a unique cooperation amongst two significant figures of Polish, Czech and Slovak popular music – Ewa Farna and Miroslav Žbirka (this will be their first-time ever common performance). Both artists are the most popular musicians in Central Europe. They will be accompanied by the Hungarian Ghymes group. Musical performance will be intertwined by discussion about the history of Visegrad group as it is perceived by the Slovak minister of foreign affairs, director of the IVF and other guests. We will also discuss the Central European culture, music and our common identity. As a result, we will produce two TV shows that will be broadcasted in Slovakia and other countries. Apart from the concert, we will produce two TV shows - the first one will comprise the concert record and the other will be a documentary of the 30-years history of the project and the V4 group."

"Hlavným cieľom projektu je propagácia spoločného kultúrneho dedičstva prostredníctvom hudby vo vyšehradskom regióne. Tento rok oslávime 30. výročie visegrádskej skupiny, ako aj projektu Mosty-Gesharim. Našim cieľom je zorganizovať jedinečný koncert spájajúci diskusiu o histórii spolupráce V4 a hudobných vystúpení najpopulárnejších umelcov zo všetkých štyroch krajín. Tohtoročný koncert sa uskutoční v septembri 2021 v synagóge v Liptovskom Mikuláši. Program koncertu zahŕňa jedinečnú spoluprácu významných postáv poľskej, českej a slovenskej populárnej hudby - Ewa Farna a Miroslav Žbirka (bude to ich vôbec prvé spoločné vystúpenie). Obaja umelci sú najobľúbenejšími hudobníkmi v strednej Európe. Sprevádzať ich bude maďarská skupina Ghymes. Hudobné predstavenie bude popretkávané diskusiou o histórii Vyšehradskej štvorky, ako ju vníma slovenský minister zahraničných vecí, riaditeľ IVF a ďalší hostia. Diskutovať budeme aj o stredoeurópskej kultúre, hudbe a našej spoločnej identite. Výsledkom bude produkcia dvoch televíznych relácií, ktoré sa budú vysielať na Slovensku a v ďalších krajinách. Okrem koncertu budeme produkovať dve televízne relácie - prvá bude obsahovať záznam z koncertu a druhá bude dokumentom o 30-ročnej histórii projektu a skupiny V4."
